The Loft Coffee House is a non-profit ministry of Riverside Community Church.

Our goal is to provide you with a quiet respite from the static of life, a place for community gatherings and activities, and to give back both locally and internationally to other charitable organizations that breathe life into others.

Just off the highway but worlds away from the hustle and bustle.

Our Story

The Lord gave a vision for there to be a church plant in Spring Branch, TX. Pastor Scott Heare said YES, and with an idea of Jenny (Rudd) Gunter, who had a vision for a church coffee shop, a team of amazing people quickly began to make it all work. Riverside Community Church services began on the back porch of our first location of The Loft Coffee House in 2004. The church grew and moved for many years before settling into its campus near off Bulverde Road and Hwy 46.

The Loft Coffee House moved to our current location in 2017, what we call The Homestead. This Homestead property belonged to a family of one of our church’s first members and we had the opportunity to purchase the property and build one of our sister ministries, The Hope Center, right behind The Loft Coffee House.

Today, The Loft Coffee House gets to pour out of our overflow into the Hope Center and other ministries in the San Antonio area and beyond. Our customers, partners, and amazing team make this all possible.

The Hope Center provides food, clothing, and financial assistance to members of our community who have fallen on hard times. To find out more, go to www.hopecenterministries.com

The Loft Is Open For Business 5 Days A Week (closed Sundays and Mondays)
Tuesday – Friday: 7am – 2 pm
Saturday: 8am – 1:00pm (NEW SATURDAY HOURS!!! Starting 10/26/2024)

  • "'Coffee for a Cause' ... such a great coffee house. Their good intentions, their friendly vibe, their yummy coffee/tea/food. We spent almost five hours here today and absolutely loved it. We had breakfast then stayed around for lunch. Coffee was awesome. The quiche in the morning was soooo good and the pulled pork sandwich on jalapeño bun for lunch was absolutely outstanding!!!!! We intend on frequenting this place. They’re providing a really cool option for that community feel in this area. Thanks guys!"
